The College was established as a result of the reorganization of the junior specialist training department of Augustyn Voloshyn Carpathian University, in accordance with the order “On changes in the structure of Augustyn Voloshyn Carpathian University ” No. 56/6-o dated June 2, 2014.

The activities of the College are carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, “On Professional Prehigher Education”, the Concept of Education Development in Ukraine for the period 2015–2025, the Strategy for the Development of the Information Society in Ukraine, the Charter of Augustyn Voloshyn Carpathian University, and the Regulation “On Uzhhorod Humanitarian-economic Vocational College of Augustine Voloshyn Carpathian University”, adopted in a new edition on March 30, 2020.
